Can an infraction be expunged?

Last year I pled guilty to disturbing the peace as an infraction. I know an infraction is not a real big thing to have on my record, but I would like to have it taken off if I can. Can infractions be expunged or only misdemeanors or felonies?

There is no such thing as real expungement in California. To the extent that one can obtain the phony-baloney quasi-dismissal available under 1203.4 [which unscrupulous attorneys sell as "expungements"] for misdemenors and felonies, that is available for infractions after a year has passed from the date of the conviction.
