Can I remove the IID from my car if I move out of state?

I was ordered by the court to install the Ignition Interlock Device on my car. I now want to move out of state. Am I required to leave it on my car if I move to another state?

Generally, if you are ordered to have an interlock device installed, your driver license has a restriction requiring one. If you drive out of state without one, you are violating your driver license restriction. Before you do something you have a question about, consult a DUI lawyer in your home state.
