How do you have an arrest record removed in California if the charges were dropped?

If anyone Google's my name... the arrest/photo comes up. It's so humiliating! The charge was for domestic battery. I have no criminal record and didn't prior either.

You can file for a finding of factual innocence [which generally requires an attorney, and it requires more showing than a mere non-filing of the charges against you], but that can only block things in the criminal justice system. If there were news items or some such thing that was available by Google, it always will be.
