If I have a warrant and then someone files a restraining order against me, will I be arrested when I'm served?

I have an active warrant for my arrest. I have information that a restraining order has now been filed against me. Will I be arrested when I am served with the restraining order?

It depends on many things, especially the nature of the warrant and who serves the restraining order on you. Restraining orders can be served by private people, and then you would not be arrested. They can be served by peace officers performing civil duties, and then you might be arrested if it is a serious or high bail warrant, or probably not if it is a low grade warrant. Indeed, if it is being served by a peace officer doing civil service work, the cop might not even know there is a warrant out for you, because they do not generally do a warrant check when serving civil papers.
