If my son was arrested on a probation violation, how long can they hold him in jail before his probation officer has to see him or set a court date?

My son was arrested on a probation violation. He has been there almost 30 days with no contact from his probation officer.

In Florida the probation officer would not be contacting him while he is in jail on a violation of probation, to my knowledge. He needs to get a criminal defense lawyer in the area to handle the matter. It can be very serious. He could spend the rest of the probationary period in jail. It is up to the judge as to when the next set of violations of probation will be heard. A criminal defense attorney can help immensely.
