Her probation officer does not have authority over your conduct. Just make sure tha item is not readily available to her or she will be in trouble, not you.

My 15 yr old daughter was put on supervised probation for a year for a fight at school, and for trying weed. My question is: her probation officer said we can't have guns in our home. But my daughter is not a felon, can we have guns in our home if the guns are locked up?

You need to ask your probation officer. Probation can come with restrictions on activities that are legal, like having to get permission to travel or being home at a certain time in the evening. If you disagree with the probation officer, you can go to the judge who imposed the probation to try to overrule the probation officer.
