Jesse Stout is a criminal defense attorney practicing in California, based in San Francisco. He offers affordable representation for defendants accused of infractions, misdemeanors, and felonies, with a specialty in medical cannabis law, and will fight for your acquittal. Mr. Stout is a criminal defense lawyer and longtime criminal justice activist. Since earning his bar license, he has appeared in criminal courts across northern California. Jesse graduated from Brown University and University of California Hastings College of the Law. During law school Jesse worked at three public defender offices in California, and analyzed criminal justice legislation at the California Assembly Public Safety Committee. Before attending law school, Jesse served as the executive director of the Rhode Island Patient Advocacy Coalition. In this role, he organized the medical marijuana patient community in support of the RI Medical Marijuana Act, which ultimately overcame three gubernatorial vetoes and now protects thousands from arrest.
