As a criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles, who handles a majority of sex crimes cases, I have seen lots of different scenarios involving allegations of child pornography but this is a relatively uncommon one: Letha Mae Montemayor ,a 52-year old mother, from North Hills has been charged with the production of child pornography and molestation.

That being said, the federal and state laws are extremely harsh towards child pornography offenders no matter what the gender and age.  In the federal system, a person convicted of a child pornography offense may face mandatory minimum prison sentences and mandatory sex registration for life under state law.  Production of child pornography is considered one of the most serious child pornography offenses in the spectrum (as opposed to possession or receipt of child pornography) and can led a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 15 years in federal prison.

Allegedly, there was a video being viewed, and circulated online, from about 11 years ago, which showed an adult female sexually molesting a girl who appeared to be around 13 years old.  Although many of the details are unknown at this time, there is an adult male believed to be involved I the production of the video as well.
