Criminal Defense Lawyer

A native Floridian, Mr. Matthew R. Willard was born in Miami, FL in 1967. After living in Virginia, Louisiana, and Tennessee, he grew roots in North Georgia until joining the United States Navy in 1987. After serving two tours in the Persian Gulf, including Desert Storm, Mr. Willard received an Honorable Discharge in 1991. He then traveled West on I-10 from Jacksonville to Tallahassee to attend Tallahassee Community College, where he graduated with honors. He then transferred to Florida State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1995. He subsequently attended FSU College of Law, where he excelled in trial advocacy, and went on to coach law school and high school trial teams.
