Recently the Cobb County police department released their incident reports to the press. They showed that a number of property crimes and robberies haunted local residents between September 12 and 15. However, it is unclear how many of these are actually related to one another. Many of them are treated as separate crimes by investigators.

On September 12, a forced-entry burglary was reported to the police. It happened at a private residence in the 1300 block of Penny Lane. On that same day, another forced-entry burglary was reported at a private residence. That house was located in the 2100 block of Glenridge Court.

There was additionally a theft on the 3200 block of Windy Hill Road, an armed robbery on the 2100 block of Roswell Road and another theft on the 3000 block of Hidden Forest Court. A few automotive incidents also occurred, though these are unrelated.

For that matter, it is completely possible that each of these individual crimes is totally unrelated. As they were reported on behalf of a blotter, there is little information to the press in regards to the specifics that surround them. As the police and attorneys prefer to avoid speculation in such cases, they are more than likely isolated incidents.

For what it is worth, the police do have a suspect in custody in yet another isolated incident. The arrest of a wanted individual was reported by police officers somewhere in the 2700 block of Chastain Meadows Parkway. The police force took another suspect into custody on the same day near the 2800 block of Delk Road.

A number of thefts were also reported on September 13. Notably, residents reported property damage in the 1500 block of Terrel Mill Road. Thefts and auto entering incidents were mentioned on September 14 and 15 as well.

Legal analysts may be interested to note that a few were noted as strong-arm street robberies. Some jurisdictions use that term to classify a theft that would otherwise have been classified as a robbery by sudden snatching with the added allegation that a suspect used force when carrying out the crime.
