Rajan Joshi started his legal career as an assistant state attorney in Jacksonville, FL. He was promoted to prosecute felony cases in less than a year, and was assigned to the Repeat Offender Court within two years, where he prosecuted habitual felony offenders for very serious crimes. He received the 2003 Jury Trial Award for trying more case than any prosecutor in the Fourth Judicial Circuit. He litigated numerous Post-conviction motions. As a prosecutor, he assisted in training law enforcement officers, was on the hiring committee, and judged teen court and trial practice competitions for Florida Coastal Law School. Rajan has tried and handled all types of cases including felonies punishable by life in prison such as murder. He practices in all areas of criminal defense, both State and Federal. His also concentrates on motions to overturn prior criminal convictions.
