Robert Tager is licensed to practice law in Florida. He is additionally admitted to practice law in the federal Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Robert graduated from Florida Atlantic University, where he was actively involved in student politics and was elected twice to be the Vice President for Student Government. He attended law school at Nova Southeastern University, Sheppard Broad Law Center, where he was elected twice to be the President of the student bar before graduating. He graduated law school and was admitted to the Florida bar in 1998.
Robert worked for the Public Defender's Office in Hillsborough County for two years. During that time, he represented numerous clients and took to trial numerous juvenile, misdemeanors, DUI's, and felonies. He worked on several high profile cases that were covered in the newspapers and T.V. He was later assigned to the Major Crimes division. In 2001 he went to the Public Defender's office in Pinellas County. He had numerous felony trials and was a mentor to new lawyers. In 2003 he went into private practice.
Robert belongs to the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
