Can I be charged with attempting to purchase drugs?

A friend texted me and said he could get me some mushrooms if I wanted. I texted him back to ask the price, and said I would take 2 grams if he was able to get them. Later that night, he was pulled over and arrested for felony possession. He also had marijuana in the vehicle. The arresting officer looked through his phone and I'm almost positive saw our texts. Am I at risk of any charges?

Your texts will mostly be used as evidence against your friend to establish intent to sell, however, you too could be charged with a crime in the future. You should speak with a local experienced criminal defense attorney to guide you through this delicate process. There are actions you can and should be taking.
