I live in Illinois, I am 17 years old, and I have a Firearm Owners Identification Card. Would it be legal for me to transport my shotgun to my uncles farm to shoot skeet if I break down the gun so it is inoperable and have it out of reach in the bed of my truck along with the ammunition?
