If consent to search is given, can it be withdrawn at any time?

Police came to search my house. They did not have a warrant. I told them they could search, but as they started to go upstairs, I told them I did not want them to search any longer. They ignored me and found marijuana in my upstairs bedroom. Can I argue that the search is not valid because I withdrew my consent?

Absolutely. Consent can be limited to certain areas and can be withdrawn at any time.
