I received a driving under the influence charge and have an interlock device installed. I have 9 months left until I can have it removed. I have full license privileges besides my interlock. I moved to Chicago, Illinois this past month and get my device calibrated here. Is there a way for me to apply and obtain an Illinois license? If so, will the interlock device still need to be installed? Am I able to drive a car without an interlock device here or am I required to still use the device?
