Is it possible to get a refund from an attorney if the agreement states no refunds?

My fiancé and I hired a firm to handle the filing of a criminal case that he had. We were told by the attorney that it was a felony case. The District Attorney determined that there wasn't enough evidence and no charges were filed. The attorney charged us 7500 for that. Is there any way to get our money back being that there was nothing that the attorneys office done.

I may be possible. Each State Bar has it's own rules for "reasonable fees." You should first talk to the lawyer and explain that he did nothing to earn his fee. If you cannot reach an agreement, you can call the State Bar and inquire about their "reasonable fee" policy and what they can do to help you reach an agreement with the lawyer.
