If your probation officer does not allow you or does not know if they can, you can request a hearing in court and have the judge grant you permission. It may help if you have the probation officer available for that court date so that the probation officer can tell the judge that he does not object to you traveling. Because your trip is so close, you should request an emergency hearing. Good luck!
Traveling on misdemeanor probation

My family paid for a trip to Mexico, for my daughter, girlfriend and myself. I asked my case manager about it and she said she doesn't know if she can approve it, and I should ask the judge. About four years ago, I had the same exact probation, but with a different case manager and he gave me the ok to go. My trip is in nine days. Would I be ok if I just left? Or is there a way they can find out?

Make sure you probation officer knows. If it is international travel, know that some countries may prohibit your entry or put you through extensive screening if it is discovered (i.e. Canada).
